Course Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

State the legal obligations of themselves and their employers with regard to health and safety.

Recognise a range of hazards in their working environment.

Recognise a range of harms that could be caused by hazards in their working environment.

Explain the importance of following hazard controls that have been put in place.
Course Overview
Target Population: All staff.
Course Duration: 3 hours
Certification: Level 1 Award in Health & Safety at Work.
Assessment: Knowledge assessment via a question paper.
Number of Participants: 20 Maximum.

Is based on the compliance requirements placed on trainers by the Health & Safety at Work (Etc.) Act of 1974, a variety of health & safety legislation, HSE and CQC Standards.
