By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
List their obligations and that of their employer with regard to fire safety.
Describe actions to be taken in the event of a fire occurring at work.
Identify the correct fire extinguisher for use on a range of different fires.
Describe how fires occur and spread.
Describe how they can reduce the risk of fire occurring.
Understand how they may reduce the threat of fire in their homes.
Understand how they would implement fire marshal measures.
Know what their duties will be in the event of a fire; specific duties if involved in evacuations; and arrangements made to cover all visitors and contractors on the premises.
Target Population: All Owners, Managers, Supervisors & Staff.
Course Duration: 5 hours
Certification: Level 2 Award in Fire Marshal Duties.
Assessment: Knowledge assessment via a question paper.
Number of Participants: 16 Maximum
Our Fire Marshal Training:
Based on the compliance requirements placed on trainers by the Health & Safety at Work (Etc.) Act of 1974; Fire Safety Act; the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and requirements placed on healthcare employers by industry standards.
Can assist Health & Social Care Diploma candidates with the various elements of their learning.
